"Hello there! My name is Cristine Joy Bocuya, but you can call me Joy because spreading joy is my thing! I hail from the vibrant city of Metro Manila, where I spent my childhood and earned my degree in Business Administration from Arellano University.
My journey into the corporate world began at Universal Robina Corporation, where I served as a Human Resource Personnel Action Administrator. This role was my first taste of the corporate world, and it was there I discovered my knack for managing people and resources effectively.
But the call of the contact center industry was too strong to ignore! I got the opportunity to handle accounts for T-Mobile, 411 Locals, and Trajector Medical. This experience was like a rollercoaster ride, full of ups and downs, but it was during this time that I honed my problem-solving skills and developed a deep understanding of diverse customer needs.
As time passed, I found myself drawn to the freelancing world. I took on the role of an Executive Virtual Assistant at Virtudesk, a company that serves the Real Estate industry. This was a different ball game altogether, but I loved every moment of it.
Now, you must be thinking, 'Wow, she's all about work!' But hold on, there's more to me than just my professional life. I'm a proud mother of a beautiful child and live in the serene province of Nueva Ecija with my loving spouse. Living close to the farm, I get to indulge in my love for nature vibes every day. It's like a daily vacation!
But wait, there's more! I'm a people person through and through. I love interacting with people and learning about their experiences. I'm a voracious reader, with a particular interest in books that help me understand different cultures and perspectives. And when I'm not reading or working, you'll find me playing strategic board games with friends, indulging my passion for problem-solving in a fun way.
